Clean enough and as far as how accurate I shoot way to much and probably way to fast and with out any bench rest, to give a hoot. Run and gun HA HA . This ammo does a great job. I've run a bunch (over 1000) of these through a Glock 19 and now an LC9 - no problems. Not too dirty. I'm not a bullseye shooter per se, but it appears any missed shots are my fault, not the ammo's (As much as I'd love to blame the ammo) . At these prices well worth going with this instead of Wolf, Blazer, Brazer Brass, etc. in my opinion.

This ammo is more powerful than any cheap ammo I have shot. There is definitely more kick. It works great in my Glock, except it tends to eject more toward my forehead. I decided to try it in a lousy, jam-o-matic of mine that has a tight recoil spring. It usually jams after every third shot. With this ammo, I am able to empty the magazine and now it only jams on the last round :(

I've written positively about this ammo in the past. In addition to economy and accuracy - and dependability (no FTF's and no FTE's) - the following may sound minor, but it is actually a big deal to me. This ammo comes in an extremely small box. It makes it very easy for me to store a lot of ammo in my ammo safe. The box is easily half the size of other brands. Also, the primers - if you ever plan on reloading, this ammo comes with a red colored primer, which makes it very easy to find as you look on the ground and try to find just the rounds you fired. I had the pleasure of using this ammo during a 4 day class last year. I shot 500 rds in 4 days and never had a failure. I used a Ruger P89, a P90, and a Glock. No failures (except staged (G)). Saw a lot of it used in several calibers. Again, no failures.
I just bought an XD 9, and have put 200 rounds thru it. Fast and smooth thru all mags. found great accuracy (up to 60 feet for my break in).

My niece and I used the S&B 115gr FMJ in a Tactical Response Fighting Pistol class this past week. We fired 2000 rounds in two days through two Glock 17's. There were no malfunctions related to this ammo. It was clean compared to some other ammo we use. After each day of shooting we used a micro fiber towel and wiped down the pistols. Using my Beretta px4 subcompact I just finished sending all 1000 rounds down range. I was able to fit all 1000 rounds in my gun vault because the boxes are smaller than most. However it does make it tough to get them out of the plastic rack in a hurry unlike the larger boxes so bring a shallow Tupperware container to dump them into. With these rounds I was consistently able to get 13 in an 8'' group with ease. I did have one failure to feed but my gun was kinda dirty after 400 rounds so I wiped the ramp clean and kept going. I like to spend a few hours shooting and have a Lula speed loader that helps cut the load time. I went 3 different times not all in one trip just to clarify. I like the sealed primers also. I'm really impressed with these S&B rounds. I just got my first 1000 in just a few days. Shipping was super fast. I put about 250 of these through my Glock 34 with some match trigger and spring mods, and it's been flawless. I'm training for USPSA so my groups are hardly worthy of accuracy testing, but a few slow fire groups were nice and tight. The boxes are also nice and small--easy to fit in the range bag. Overall this is a great value. Maybe a few bucks more than the bargain basement, but this is a really high quality brass-cased round for cheap. Buy some, but leave a few cases for me! New Walther PPS 9mm compact which needs a good break in so I ordered 1000 rounds and have found NO issues with this product. It fires clean which makes cleaning the gun later a relatively quick and easy job. Its very reliable with several 100 rounds put through now and I haven't had a single failure. Accuracy is dead on at 60' from a 3.2" barrel in the PPS.

There was a slight warehousing problem which delayed my order a few days however no big deal. From everything I've read BulkAmmo has pretty quick shipping so this was likely a rare occurrence and wouldn't stop me from another order.

I'll have to order more soon for the inexpensive Hi-Point 9mm and .45ACP I've ordered. (Posted on 11/19/11)

I recently purchased two new firearms, a Beretta 92A1 and XDM 4.5". While looking for ammunition at local stores, I realized that breaking them in could be very costly. I decided to surf the net and look for a better deal. When I found these on Bulk Ammo, I was a little skeptical, but after researching the S&B brand on-line, I found that they have an extensive history and are a very reliable manufacturer. Much to my delight I found that a lot of firearms are tested with these rounds at manufacturer's before they ship. Well then, we will try them. I ordered 1000 rounds, with shipping included, the cost broke down to about .22 cents a round. So far I have shot about 400 rounds through each sidearm and I must say they are very impressive target loads. I have not encountered one round that has failed to chamber, fire or eject in either gun. The consistency and accuracy of these loads are impressive as well. I will buy these again and recommend them to others for the purpose of practice shooting. My first purchase was this ammo (9mm) and all I can say is bravo. I was a bit skeptical in ordering S&B at first because of other web searches on the ammo. Some reviews talk about the ammo being magnetic and causing sparks at the range. This is all bull$h!t. Neither is true.

I have gone through half of my case (500 rounds) without one FTF. It's as accurate as my hands and eyes allow, but more importantly; it burns much cleaner than my wally world ammo.

I didn't receive the package as fast as others have stated in other reviews, but it came in a timely manner, with shipping information email, and confirmation delivery. So, no complaints here.

I've just recently started shooting through my 2'nd case of this fine target ammunition. There are several reasons I like this over any of the other cheap target ammo. 1: This Ammo shoots much cleaner than any other target ammo I've used in my Springfield XD. 2: This ammo is loaded to a higher velocity than a lot of other cheep FMJ ammo, so it recoils more like defensive rounds for better practice. 3: This ammo is packaged in smaller boxes than most 50 round boxes of 9mm, so it takes less room to store. 4: At this price the guys on my pistol league were shocked, asking where I bought it, and I referred them all here to Bulk Ammo. I shot 200 rounds so far and have had 2 the cartridges the were duds and did not fire. Also, on 3 occasions the empty casing failed to eject (never left the barrel) which caused my P226 to jam when the next cartridge tried to load. Cartridges also leave a weird brown residue on guns which is harder to clean than residue I see from CCI or Federal. Anyhow, the work for the range and the price is about right for the quality. I shot my first 150 rounds of this case at a pistol league, rapid fire, in the rain, with not a single issue. It is no joke cleaner than the last brand of quality brass cased target ammo i purchased. I also appreciate that they load this a little hotter than the average FMJ 9mm. I've seen similar S&B rounds listed at 1300 FPS muzzle velocity and 420 foot pounds of energy. I don't know if these are the same ones, but I like my practice rounds hot because my carry loads are real hot. At this price, I can't imagine a better target round. (Posted on 5/19/11)

Fired 1,000 rounds of this at a weekend gun course out of a 1911 9mm pistol. No malfunctions of any sort. No dirtier than any other ammo I've fired. Cleaned/lubed the 1911 only once. For inexpensive ammo, this is THE DEAL! It is nowhere near as dirty as its closest competitors, and after firing over half of my forst 1000 order, not a SINGLE problem! Honestly as accurate as I can get out of the pistol I use. Seem pretty hot loaded with the seat-of-the-pants-o-meter for CHEAP brass cased ammo. The red sealant on the primers is a little much on some but doesn't pose any mechanical problem, just aesthetics. (Posted on 4/28/11)

This ammo comes in around the $0.20/round price point, which is what other brands are charging for far less quality. The casings and jacket both look like the same metal. It fires cleanly and regularly; not a lot of residue after the same number of rounds of that "other" brand (Tula, Wolf, etc.)

Sealed primers are a very nice touch if you're storing it long-term, and doubly nice that it doesn't really affect the final price point.

I've noted a slight variability in the powder loads (a little vertical displacement when firing from a stand), but this ammo never FTF's or FTE's in my SA-XD9. Goes boom every time you pull the trigger, and it's plenty accurate within 15 yards. What more do you want for range ammo? (Posted on 2/24/11)
