This 12 Gauge shotshell by Nobel Sport Italia is loaded with 1 ⅛ ounces of #7.5 hard lead shot. That shot size owes its enormous popularity to its versatility, as it shines both in the field and on the range. Its somewhat small diameter of .095” makes it big enough to drop small game like grouse, quail, and rabbit quickly, but it is not so big that it ruins the trophy. It works nicely for duck as well, provided you bring them in close first with the aid of decoys. The even spread this shot offers downrange makes it a regular go-to for trap and skeet shooters as well. This shot’s exceptional hardness keeps its pellets from deforming in the barrel when fired to maintain its accuracy, and gives it the ability to penetrate game reliably too.
