Q: I am not familiar with the term managed recoil,can you explain what this means?

A: "Managed Recoil" is Remington's way of saying that this 12ga 00 buck ammo has less kick than standard 00 buckshot. This is normally accomplished through a reduction in the number of buckshot pellets or a reduction in muzzle velocity, or both. However, it's still a great choice for defensive shotgun ammunition.
