These 12 gauge shells pack 24 pellets of #1 buckshot into a 3-inch hull, producing dense shot patterns and deadly terminal ballistics at the expense of stronger recoil than typical 2-3/4" loads. Each shell fires its payload at a muzzle velocity of 1,040 feet per second. This relatively low velocity doesn't hurt close range performance but does slightly reduce the risk of over-penetration. Each box contains 5 shells.
