Very good ammo!
Review by Mr22 -
I am using a Model 60 and have only fired them indoors @ 13 yards so far. I get hole in hole shot after shot with a 4x32 scope (my eyes are bad for iron sights). I decided to shoot a string through the Chrono and was suprised to see how consistent they are. ES 2fps and 1fps SD!! (can that be right?). Not even the Win. Super-X 40gr is that consistent through the Chronograph, but they are just as accurate. I can't wait to do some 25 and 50yd shooting, because I have a feeling they are going to surprise me. Love it!
Review by Elysia -
I use only cci tactical with my pistol as I like to buy in bulk and shoot often. The only "problem" is the wax build up but if your like me and willing to overlook that issue then it's great!( not a huge issue just a bother) I have a Sig Mosquito and have fired around 1300 rounds down it. I have had 3 failure to feeds but that was all.... I hope someone finds this useful. If you like to shoot and don't like to spend tons of money on ammo this is the way to go! Failed to Feed
Review by SteveOReeno -
After firing 40 rounds in my Browning Buckmark, the cartridges to fail to feed and caused jams every other round. I noticed a build of gunk around the chamber and the machined guide ramp leading to the chamber. After cleaning as best I could with a Q-tip, I fired 20 rounds before the same thing started to happen.Ammo Performance Bargain? Reliable?
This time, after removing most of the gunk with another Q-tip, I switched to Winchester Wildcat LRN ammo and fired 200 rounds without any problems.
At home, using a clean dry rag, I wiped off the wax coating from the remaining 300 rounds of the CCI AR Tactical ammo. I returned to the range the following week and fired the 300 rounds with no problems. After this session, the chamber area of the gun was "normal" dirty, with no build up of gunk as experienced the previous week.
The wax coating caused my problem, and I won't be buying anymore of this ammo. (Posted on 8/31/12) -
Great Stuff
Review by Mike -
Great stuff. Never have had a FTF/FTE in my Sig Mosquito. Waxy coating a little annoying, but overall great bargain. (Posted on 8/21/12)Ammo Performance Bargain? Reliable? -
Runs Well, comparable to the recommended CCI MiniMag
Review by NTPROF -
This ammo ran without FTF\FTE in my MP15-22 over 300 rounds. I did have 1 misfire in 75 rounds through my Sig Mosquito, which is on par for comparable priced ammo.Ammo Performance Bargain? Reliable?
Given the similar price, I would probably use the CCI MiniMag RN or HP.
The waxy coating was also a surprise, and was even commented on my a neighbor at the range.
The 15-22 cleaned very easily. The Sig was horribly leaded, but I would attribute that to 400 rnds of cheaper ammo that was shot afterwards. (Posted on 8/16/12) -
Good clean ammo
Review by Yemrys -
I shoot this thru a CMMG stainless .22 adapter with blackdog magazines. No FTF, no FTE and easy clean-up. Good for teaching how to shoot the M4/M16/AR-15, no recoil and accurate at 25 meters! (Posted on 7/11/12)Reliable? Ammo Performance Bargain? -
AR ammo doesn't work in my AR
Review by GearHeadTony -
I have a CMMG dedicated .22lr upper for my S&W MP15T that runs Federal 40 grain ammo with no problem. I have always heard good things about CCI so I tried this and it simply would not eject properly. I couldn't get through more than 3 rounds without a FTE. I also tried CCI mini-mags and CCI blazers and had the same issues. Disappointing considering this is supposed to be AR specific ammo. It may work fine in other guns, but be aware it may not work in CMMG products. (Posted on 6/11/12)Reliable? Ammo Performance Bargain? -
Awesome Choice

I have used these in a SW MP15-22 AR platform and I can only say is that these are probably the best I have ever fired. My wife has used these in here SW P22 and never had an issue with them. (Posted on 5/10/12)Reliable? Ammo Performance Bargain? -

Great
Review by Mac -
I just got a box of these to try in my Marlin 60. It can be a bit picky about ammo but I have not found a CCI round that it would not fire well. At 1200 fps these are a decent buy in a bulk box. The copper coated rounds keep barrel leading down and they shoot fairly clean. They are very accurate out at 100 yards. I expect my target ammo to shoot sub moa in my rifle and these do. I had no fliers, no FTF's, no FTE's. I don't have an AR in .22 but I would expect these to do well in that gun also. (Posted on 4/10/12)Reliable? Ammo Performance Bargain?
