One of the quietest rimfire cartridges available, ELEY subsonic ammo is ideal for applications where lower noise is essential; its lack of sonic boom also makes it great with suppressors. It uses a dry, grease-free lubricant that is more reliable in semiautomatic firearms and functions better in poor weather. The hollow point bullet delivers strong expansion, making it effective against small game. The 40-grain hollow point travels at the subsonic muzzle velocity of about 1065 feet per second.

ELEY is one of the oldest cartridge companies in the world. A onetime partner of Samuel Colt, ELEY is the company that introduced the centerfire Boxer primer that has become ubiquitous in most ammunition today. Today, the company focuses on high-end rimfire ammunition and supplies many top-level shooting sports competitors such as Olympic athletes, a testament to the reliability and precise accuracy of its products.
