Q: This is more or less the Hornady TAP 75gr cartridge without the cannelure and other tacti-cool features, right?

A: Not exactly. Hornady Superformance is loaded to higher velocities than standard .223 ammo. This ammunition is loaded with a 75gr BTHP projectile that will offer good terminal ballistics, and the added velocity will increase the effective range of the ammunition.
