This surplus ammo was produced in the 1960s and placed in impermeable plastic bags to keep them as fresh as the day they rolled off the assembly line. These plastic bags were then placed in heavy wooden crates for long-term storage and transportation. These two crucial measures have ensured these rounds are delivered to you in amazing condition. Heck you might even want to store them for even longer! But unlike a fine wine or a good cigar, these beauties technically don't get better with age so get out to the range and burn through a whole crate of them!!!
These rounds are brass-cased and berdan-primed. While we have been told by the importer they are non-corrosive, we still highly encourage you to clean your rifle every time you take it to the range (like any good gun owner should!).
