The Hornady line of .30 caliber ammo is an extremely versatile group of cartridges. They range from 110-grain to 180 grain and feature high ballistic coefficients, optimal design characteristics, and Hornady’s proprietary red polymer tips. The Hornady .308 caliber 165 grain GMX bullets feature monolithic construction, meaning that they are all one piece of metal, 95% copper and 5% zinc. They also have a high mass retention with a regular result of 95%, so there is an extreme effect on target upon impact. Hornady loads are built for optimal performance so they use only the best powders, primers, and cases. These Hornady GMX or Gilded Metal EXpansion bullets are loaded into new, high quality, reloadable, non-corrosive, heavy duty brass cases from Hornady’s own manufacturing facilities. They have a ballistic coefficient of 0.447, a documented muzzle velocity of 2610 feet per second, and 2495-foot pounds of hard hitting, game dropping muzzle energy.

This .308 ammo comes in boxes of 20 rounds for you to stack up in your safe, pack your armory full of, or take with you on your next boar hunt. In addition to hunting boar, you can also hunt medium game from 50-300 pounds and larger game from 300-1500 pounds. If you want to hunt with one of the best rounds on the market, and you appreciate reliability, fit, and finish... then the Hornady GMX 308 cartridge is the right choice for you.
