Fiocchi’s 165 grain hollow points in .40 S&W are top-notch quality and affordable enough to use as both a range and carry load. The 165 grain jacketed hollow point bullet, slightly lighter than average for the .40 Smith & Wesson, achieves a high muzzle velocity of 1100 feet per second and 443 foot-pounds of muzzle energy. Each cartridge in this box of 50 uses reloadable Boxer-primed brass cases.

Fiocchi is an Italian ammo manufacturer headquartered in Lecco, Italy. Carlo Fiocchi, a descendant of founder Giulio Fiocchi, leads the company’s US operations. The company produces most of its US ammo at a plant in Ozark, Missouri, which it established after encountering strong demand for its products after expanding to the US in the 1980s. Founded in the 1870s, the company also manufactures cartridges for NATO military forces in Europe.
