I use the 9mm and .45 ammo for target practice in a indoor range. There is very little smoke and residue left after several hundred rounds. Free shipping with major bulk purchases would be nice. (Posted on 8/17/12)

I routinely bought Winchester ammo from Walmart for target practice and hated the heavy residue that remained after a couple of hundred rounds. I figured that was just the cost in time for target practice. I saw the "Cleanfire" ammo but thought it was only a sales gimmic - and bought it because it was low cost - while wondering just how clean this ammo really be? After 300 rounds through my Stainless S&W 1911 - there was hardly a trace of soot near the barrel. Upon breakdown for end of day cleaning - the pistol was noticably cleaner, and the remaining residue broke down easily with light spray of CLP and brushing. I'm hooked and have bought 2000 rounds. My wife and I had a defensive pistol class come up at the last minute that we needed around 1000-rounds for. Wound up ordering this to fill that need. This stuff ran consistently and reliably through both my M&P45c and her FNP45 Tactical all day long. I was also impressed at how relatively clean it burns. The only downside to this cartridge is the fact that it is in aluminum, so no brass collection for you handloaders. Other than that, it is flawless as a practice ammo. (Posted on 5/28/12)

I have bought this ammo in 9 mm, 40 s&w, & 45 acp. I don't reload, so for me can't beat it for the price. Very, very clean. Goes bang every time. Great target ammo. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
