The non-metallic tip of this .45 Long Colt ammo is safe to use in the tubular magazines of lever guns and helps initiate more effective expansion of the hollow point projectile.
Each cartridge in this case of 200 fires a 225-grain Flex Tip bullet at a muzzle velocity of 960 feet per second. Compared to other .45 Colt loads, this ammunition is relatively powerful and produces strong terminal ballistics along with above-average recoil.
