This 5.56 ammo was produced to full NATO specs during the early 2000s by the Magtech/CBC facility in Brazil for the Singapore Armed Forces. Singapore is a coalition partner in the Global War on Terrorism and Singapore set the specs on this contract to be very demanding packaging this 5.56 ammo in a 50 round boxes inside of 200 round poly bags with desiccant. There are then 5 of the poly bags in a sealed m2A1 ammo can. This ammo was then stored in an air conditioned building. This ammo is being cycled out for a newer production run and as a result is brought to you at a great price point for true NATO grade military 5.56x45mm ammo.
This ammo features a sealed primer pocket and a sealed case mouth designed to prevent moisture intrusion. This ammo is brass-cased and features 55 grain bullets with a cannelure. The annealing is visible to pass military requirements similar to Lake City ammo that many AR-15 shooters are familiar with.

The Milspec Steel ammo can, complete with yellow paint i.d. markings, is pure military issue. The fact that it was mfg in the "early 2000's" is a total non-issue with me as the ammo issued in Iraq was scooped out of a cardboard drum, dumped into a plastic bag, and unceremoniously thumped onto a table (talk about "trustworthy")

Bought these and have gone through about 500 rounds with no problems whatsoever. The packing is great, 50rd boxes inside plastic bags with cardboard and foam spacers to keep things from rattling around. Fires clean and true. Very highly recommend. (Posted on 11/2/2017)

Bought this ammo for a range day with some buddies. As it was the cheapest per round. Spent at least 500 with no FTF. Had one FTE because the casing split and the extractor couldn't grip the brass. But every shot hit its mark. Will be buying another can (Posted on 7/3/2017)

I have used this ammo before with a friend who bought it. It fires just fine, but the "wow" is for customer service. I ordered this 1,000 rounds, 500 rounds of American Eagle 9mm and 525 rounds of Remington .22 LR on Thursday afternoon and it arrived the following morning. I can't get off my butt and get to a local store in that amount of time! Not to mention it would be much more expensive. The packing was excellent and the prices were very competitive. One of those things where you wish you hadn't even opened up the

Buy it or I will buy it all. Best 5.56 deal I've ever seen. Shoots 100% on par with Federal. Went through 500 with no problems and just bought another 1000. Excellent ammo very uniform and obviously well made. This stuff is getting down out of a 20 in barrel, very accurate groups very consistent ejection. Only thing I can think of that would be a negative is you have more felt recoil versus any 223 out there and a bit more the some 556.
