Details

This 5.56 NATO ammunition is the real deal: mil-spec ammo made on the same production lines that supply the US military. Produced by Federal Premium Ammunition, which operates the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri under contract, these cartridges are excess production from government purchases and follow the M193 specification used for training purposes.

Each cartridge in this case of 600 fires a 55 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,240 feet per second. The bullet has a boat tailed shape for optimal deflection of crosswinds, which gives it better extended-range accuracy.

These cartridges are loaded with non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases. The cases have visible annealing marks near the neck in line with military specifications.
