This ammo, suitable for use in firearms chambered in .308
Winchester or 7.62 NATO such as the M-14, FAL, or AR-10, uses a 168-grain open
tip match bullet for optimal ballistic performance. Ideal for long-range shooting
and competition practice, this cartridge generates a muzzle velocity of 2650
feet per second. Each box holds 20 rounds in Boxer-primed reloadable brass
cases.

A: Hi Eric, this product is loaded to 7.62x51 standards and is safe for your M1A but and is loaded with a match grade OTM bullet composed of a lead core and a copper jacket. There is nothing here that will draw a magnet.
