Put dinner on the table tonight! These are Federal 12-gauge high brass shotgun shells with 1 ΒΌ ounce #4 lead birdshot. You will receive 25 rounds per box / 10 boxes per case. The shotgun rounds provide affordable, consistent performance for a variety of small game and bird hunting.

Federal was founded in 1922 when Charles L. Horn took over a small plant in Anoka, Minnesota and formed the Federal Cartridge Corporation. In 1941, after merchandising products in every small store possible, Federal earned an $87 million-dollar contract from the U.S. Government (over $1.5 Billion today) to operate the Twin City Ordinance Plant, one of a few ammunition plants in the country to make ordinance for the war effort.

In 1960, Federal began color coding shotgun hulls by gauge, and other manufacturers began to follow suit. This began the industry standard. (In 1941, do you know that due to a shortage of purple dye during the war, Federal was forced to switch to the now famous red hulls!)

Currently doing business as Federal Premium Ammunition, the company is all about community and conservation. The facility is located in Anoka, Minnesota and sits on 175 acres. They have a half-million square feet of manufacturing space and have nearly 1,400 employees!
