Details

A strictly ultra-small game shell or for use on the sort range for clays. This is a great loadout for having around for cheap practice to stay sharp on your shotgun game. This is the 20 gauge 2 ¾” #9 shot load which offers miniscule shot size and high payload for a standard 20 gauge shell. The higher 7/8 ounce shot quantity allows for better options with your task list, but the #9 shot ensures it is still challenging for sporting purposes. The gun is well suited to small ground birds and to low flying clays. The moderate range that you get with this load is a result of the beneficial recoil profile. It’s an easy choice for a 20 gauge committed user to have several cases of this stuff on their shelf. The round is just fantastic for so many general purpose jobs. The exceptional price point and truly upstanding plant dynamics inside of the Federal production facilities means that you are getting exceptional ammunition for the money. Federal has been at this “shell game” for a very long time. This isn’t the negative kind of shell game either – Federal has their production dialed in and it means shooters can truly benefit from top tier R&D and top tier production

A: Great question. For 20 gauge, 7/8 oz or 1 oz are fairly standard loads. For trap or skeet shooting, these would be a good choice.
