This .22 WMR ammunition from Federal's Champion line is designed to provide reliable accuracy for competitive shooters who can't afford to miss. Each cartridge in this box of 50 fires a 40 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,880 feet per second. Like other Federal rimfire ammo, these rounds are loaded in Anoka, Minnesota using brass cases.
The .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire has been used since 1959 as a step up from the .22 LR, delivering much higher velocity and better medium-range accuracy thanks to its longer casing and more powerful powder charge. It can be significantly more expensive, however, which makes buying in bulk a very good idea for the avid .22 WMR shooter!
