An awesome case lot of the very powerful .22 WMR (.22 Magnum Rimfire) cartridge that produces excellent power and velocity out of a gun that has minimal recoil.

Suitable for small game, and able to kill even moderate game at a decent range, this is a great round for hunting anything from ground squirrel to rabbit to coyote and beyond. The potent power numbers are as follows: 1910 feet per second velocity and 312 ft. lbs. of energy out of the muzzle.

The Fiocchi brand is a powerhouse in the American shooting market, offering top quality ammunition at a very competitive price point. The .22 WMR that is offered here is a jacketed hollow point build that is well placed for use on difficult varmints and moderately sized game where the .22 Winchester Magnum rimfire makes sense.

The pricing of this case quantity is exceptional, and Fiocchi already was positioned as one of the low priced leaders in the industry, so it is quite a good fit for those who shoot the .22 Mag but don’t want to overpay. This is a rimfire cartridge and is not reloadable.

A: Hi Billy! There are a few reasons behind it. A 22 WMR cartridge contains more propellant and more brass. Its bullet also contains more copper, as it is true jacketed instead of merely copper washed. Economy of scale plays the biggest part, though. I believe Americans buy over 20 times more 22 LR than they do 22 WMR. At the end of the day, the higher the quantity you produce of something, the more cost-efficient its production becomes.
