This Wolf ammunition is made in Russia using non-corrosive Berdan primers and steel cases. The steel cases cost significantly less than brass and, while not reloadable, offer reliable performance thanks to their polymer coatings.

Ive run Wolf 7.62X39 for two decades.....longer with NO issues. Ive run .223 Wolf for about 15 years through Stoners girlie guns from Colt to Aero to S&W to FN........uhhh....no problems. Now you wont get the tightest groups of all ammo brands, weight etc but you will get CONSISTENT groups and save enough money to improve your skills. Forget the "10 rounds will eat your sister" crap and just try the stuff out. If you have even a halfway decent AR build then it will digest the ammo just fine. And back to the groupings.....it will provide you with at least as tight a group as will the white box overpriced union made ammo available at Wallyworld for MUCH more money. (Posted on 1/22/2022)

I was skeptical at first because of all the bad things I'd heard about steel cased ammunition, and decided just to go for it. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it performed, I only had one issue with a shell not ejecting correctly, but other than that it was flawless. Definitely will be coming back to this. I purchased this brand for the price point. I will NOT be purchasing this brand ever again. Being made in Russia I had my concerns but figured I would try anyway. I've run 150 rounds through a Ruger AR 556 and they constantly FTF. Inconsistently chambered the next round. Tried some from PNC and fired 100 rounds without a single failure in the same weapon today so I know it isn't the weapon or the magazines. (Posted on 8/21/2016)

I have put 1498 rounds down range with my bushmaster and had nearly no issues. Out of the 1500 rounds I had 2 FTF great ammo for the price fairly accurate a little dirty but oh well at least I get to shoot! (Posted on 12/22/2014)

I purchased 500 rounds of Wolf .223 55gr HP for a defensive carbine class. The ammo was ran through a M&P 15X. I was a little concerned after reading some posts, of people having issues with steel cased ammo swelling up, and failing to eject (requiring a rod to remove the case from the chamber). I shot approximately 250 rounds throughout the training session, and did not have any FTE's. As always, Bulkammo.com has super fast shipping, usually within three days to your door step, on standard shipping.
