This 38 special ammo is a little bit different than most range rounds you’ll come across. Loaded with Sinterfire’s unique frangible bullet, these rounds break into millions of tiny particles when they come in contact with a hard target - like steel.
They stamp “RHA” or “Reduced Hazard Ammo” on these boxes because of that frangible bullet. It greatly reduces the chances of a ricochet injury. You can imagine if you are training in close quarters and want to do it in as safe a manner as possible - these loads are a great choice for you. Many law enforcement agencies prefer training with frangible ammunition because of this reduced ricochet risk. (Don’t get us wrong - the bullets themselves are still lethal. You don’t want to get hit with one of these. Your chest is not a “hard target” and it’s not like you are going to walk off getting shot with one of these rounds).
This 38 Spl is loaded with a 110 grain bullet that sits neatly inside factory new brass casings.
