100 rounds in a plastic bag, would ordinarily be a sketchy purchase if you were to do it in a localized setting. Range reloads just don’t make sense when you can find far superior ammunition for the same price straight out of the factory as fresh, new manufactured rounds. This purchase however follows a philosophy by the MBI Ammunition company. They package their ammunition in plastic bags to ensure they can cut some of the marketing costs associated with their top tier remanufactured loads. This is because they refuse to deviate from a company decision to always utilize top quality components in their remanufacture of ammunition on the once fired brass they buy-in. Their component parts are better than some factory fresh brands. They use CCI, Federal, Hodgdon, Winchester and others to purchase their components like primers, powders and projectiles.

So when you see a plastic bag full of ammunition with the telltale Eagle’s head on it, and the MBI brand name, you know you aren’t making a sketchy purchase, you’re finding harmony with a company that wants to produce top tier ammunition and save you some money by foregoing the expensive cardboard carton and plastic tray, so you can enjoy the round at the price it should be – which is competitive with the cheapest imports, but at a higher quality threshold in most cases.
