I bought 1000 rounds. I’v gone through 750 rounds with my Kimber Ultra Carry II. I have had two slide slow feeds. I had one box that left sandy residue. I think the accuracy is excellent. I just order my second 1000 rounds. From all the reviews on the Bluk Ammo’s home page (and I have read them all ) I see no reason to change. I have had no failure to feed, eject or fire. I have a Les Baer 1911 that I will pick up on October 1, and I will brake it in with 300 rounds of this ammo. I think this is very good practice ammo.

After shooting 100 rounds it looks like I've been to the beach. Real sandy inside my Kimber, which is powder that has not burned off. Plus I noticed a laboring slide return on a couple of shots; this was on two shots in a row. This is the only time I could actually see the slide move back and forward slowly. I'm going shooting again today to see if I get A clean burn off. The 200 rounds prior were clean with just the smoky residue. (Posted on 9/1/2014)

I have shot over 5000 rounds of PMC 180 gr SMJHP .44 magnum through my Ruger Redhawk and don't remember any problems. I have shot a similar amount of PMC 230gr FMJ .45 through my Springfield TRP Operator with similar results. I have had great success with PMC and would recommend their product to anyone. 2,000 ish rounds of PMC .45acp through my Colt Government and Colt Commander and at least 5,000 rounds of PMC 9mm through my Sig P226. Not one single misfire or failure to feed with the 45s ever, and maybe 2 or 3 FTFs with the 9mm over a period of about five years. PMC makes a quality product at a fair price. This is my first experience with PMC. Out of 10 boxes shot so far I've had 8 feed issues w this ammo in my Kimber Ultra Carry, but most of them when the gun was very dirty. I like a few feed issues at the range. It's good to practice immediate action drills to reduce each type of stoppage. What is also interesting is that the same company (a subsidiary of the parent company Poongsan Corporation) also provides some U.S. manufacturers with brass casings for their own production. PMC product is some of the best we offer (domestic or foreign) and it's usually at a slightly lower price point.
