This 7.62x39mm cartridge by Tula sports a 154 grain soft point projectile. Because this bullet’s soft core is exposed through the opening at its metal jacket’s tip, it will deform and expand upon impact to create a deep wound channel within targets. This round’s attractive price also makes it ideal for target practice -- it’s largely attributable to its non-corrosive Berdan primed steel casing, which is far more cost-effective to produce than brass. The trade-off is that you won’t be able to handload these cartridges, but at little more than a quarter apiece you’ll hardly be set back by that.
