Winchester not only supplies ammunition and supplies for hunting and sport shooting, they also have a fantastic line of handgun ammunition as well, such as this 9mm 115 grain FMJ ammo. These rounds provide consistent accuracy that have been trusted for target and range practice for decades. They are Full metal jacket and have reduced barrel fouling, which means that you’ll need fewer cleanings and more range time! Muzzle velocity is 1190 fps with muzzle energy at 362 ft/lb.

These 50 Round boxes are perfect size for your range bag so stack away and hit the lanes. You always think you’re bringing enough to practice- but they go faster than you think! Especially if you’re practicing different techniques and accuracy. Better get a bunch!

A: Thanks for reaching out Ann! Speaking personally, I'd prefer the Sellier & Bellot 124 grain FMJ ammo we have in stock for target shooting. Don't get me wrong, Winchester's ammo should work well for you, but I'm just speaking from experience when I say the S&B is just a little more reliable and consistent. If you'd like to spend a little less, I've also had good experiences with the MBI ammo. It's reloaded brass, but MBI is a really good company headed by a retired cop and master reloader and I've never had an issue with their ammo, ever.

A: Thanks for reaching out Bryan! Georg Luger invented the ammo your Glock 45 needs. 9mm, 9mm Luger, and 9x19mm are all the same exact ammo! You may also see 9mm +P ammo, too. That's going to work just fine in your G45 as well. It is loaded to a higher pressure to give its bullet a aster muzzle velocity and will wear out your handgun's moving parts faster, so it's generally only recommended for self-defense.

You want full metal jacket (FMJ) ammo for target practice. It's a more economical type of bullet because it's not designed to expand inside soft tissue, but of course that doesn't matter when you're only training with paper targets. If you just want a box or two of 9mm training ammo, then I would recommend the PMC. That's from the same factory that makes South Korea's military ammo, and I believe it is high quality for its price tag.

For self-defense, you want a jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullet. I'd recommend the Federal 124gr JHP HST or the Speer LE 124gr JHP for self-defense with your G45. They're both designed for law enforcement professionals, but you're allowed to use it as well. Personally speaking I prefer the Speer ammo, but the Federal HST load is probably on equal footing – both highly effective for personal protection.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
