Details
Pick up this 500 round case of 9mm Luger ammo from Wolf for a cheap, fun time at the range. these cartridges come in boxes of 50 (with 10 boxes in each case) and fire a light 115 grain bimetal jacketed bullet. This is a standard pressure load that will work well with popular compact carry pistols.
This ammo is loaded in Russia using non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel cases. The steel cases provide reliable cycling thanks to their polymer coatings and cost significantly less than brass cases. However, they do come with the downside of not being suitable for all indoor ranges because of their magnetic properties.

Does not auto load properly. Dirty ammo, also. At the range today I was informed that I could not shoot ANY steel case ammo because: 1) The powder does not fully burn, leaving remnants of powder on the floor. 2) The FMJ (115gr) bullet actually has a steel core, which causes sparking at the trap end (hence the fire issue). At first I took it with a grain of salt because I had never heard of that issue. Thinking more about it the incomplete burn issue makes sense because of the faulty slide cycling, ie; incomplete burn would reduce muscle velocity, etc., causing malfunctions. I would get 1 or 2 per clip. :( However, whenever I use brass case ammo I have absolutely no issues. That being said, my wife uses the same ammo in .380 in her Sig Sauer P238 without any issue. So, its the Taurus or its the 9mm ammo.) (Posted on 2/17/2020)

went to shoot my Ruger PC9 carbine the ammo worked fine i had no jams whatsoever however wow me and my sis had super dirty hands after shooting over 150 rounds ;best deal as far as quantity per $ but very dirty the accuracy was good (Posted on 3/10/2019)

I’ve only shot 100 rounds, no feed issues or delayed/misfires like some reviews. The ammo is super dirty and throws sparks. Never seen my 9mm so dirty after 100 rounds, otherwise good so far. Will update if anything changes. (Posted on 6/15/2018)

I had several failure to feeds.
My Canik tp9sf elite did fine and usually runs with no failures at all... The steel case and "coating" makes the rounds not want to load into the mag correctly... They aren't smooth enough or something... I inspected the empty casings after the session and these primers are hard... H.A.R.D.... Other than that, if they chamber, they'll fire... Light recoiling, tend to shoot low for some reason... But for a cheap Russian ammo, ya get what you pay for... I'll stick to Winchester white box (Posted on 2/18/2017)

I purchased this for my wife to practice with out of her Walther CCP. Shoots reliably, it's just noticeably dirtier than brass-cased rounds. Otherwise, no Failures to Fire/Feed. I have started shooting USPSA production and as I don't yet reload I needed a cost effective round for practice. Currently running a Gen 4 Glock 34 with a Vogel drop in trigger. I started with a 4.0 lb striker spring and with this ammo I experienced @ 1 FTF per 20 or so rounds. After changing to a 4.5 striker spring I have on average 1 FTF per 50-60 rounds. On 2nd try they fire. Go to brass US made ammo and 100%. I'm sure with a stock weapon reliability would be much better, but for price great for practice. Completely satisfied and just ordered more. As for Bulk Ammo, my only complaint is service is too quick to hide things from the wife. I live in the south and time from clicking "place order" to loading a magazine is < 48 hrs. Just fired 100 rounds had many jams and misloads in my kahr P9. Tried another ammo with brass casing and had no issues at all out of additional 50 rounds. Casing on this ammo just don't work well or reliable. Didn't have no duds but just didn't run through gun well. Will not buy again. Russian made 9mil in a steel case. So far i havent had a jam and fired probably 200in a row through my xd9 tactical in one sitting without a ftf stovepipe or any of that craziness. If you dont plan on reloading brass, WPA is a good choice since you dont spend extra on the casing. If you do plan on rekoading later then just buy rounds which are in brass like PMC or federal. Maybe 2% fail to fire. Pretty dirty. But OK if you clean you gun after the range. Had 2 out of 1000 rounds that the primer went off but no powder. Bullet lodged in barrel. Had to pull barrel and press out. Obviously it cut off my time at the range to get to my tools to get bullet out. I was upset but did not take much effort to remove. But need to know what you are doing to safely remove without damaging rifleling. (Posted on 6/2/2015)

I had some 9mm federal I have a kaltech I was told that the mm bullets would stove pipe on me and that they also maid noise in magazine yes it did make a little noise not enough to bother me I fired 100 rounds off a lol fired no problems so fare I am happy with purchase I might try a different 9 mm I did not that a federal 9mm and these were a little different in size but they fired and did what you expect out of a round would buy again. I had a lot of miss feeds and some won't even fire. I tried it on several different guns and they all had the same problem. The guys at the range said that it was because of the coating. I have no idea what they're talking about. I just need cheap ammo's to practice with but I guess I got what I paid for. Probably won't be buying these anytime soon. I had been considering some steel cased ammo, but had avoided it due to concerns about weapon damage. After watching a USCCA video that clearly stated that the steel case would not cause any damage, I decided to give it a try. I ran 150 rounds through my Glock 17 and 100 rounds through my Glock 19. No FTF or FTE. It is somewhat more dirty than higher priced rounds, but the lower price is worth it to me. I like to clean my guns anyway - I find it therapeutic!

Best priced 9 mm round around. wanted a practive round to take to the range. My pistol has a double stack magazine and I noticed I could not load it all the way because the rounds would stick and not come out of the magazine. I could only load it with 5 - 6 rounds but other than that issue I had no misfires or FTF/FTE. Ammo is accurate and would buy again. Maybe I'll try one of the other pistols that are single stacked. This ammunition is loaded with a bi-metal jacketed bullet. Unfortunately with the bimetal jacket, a magnet will attract that bullet due to the steel in the jacket.
