Details

Speer Lawman's 15 grain 9mm ammo is an exceptional, American-made choice that's ideal for your range training needs.

These rounds come with factory new brass casings and are loaded with Speer's 115 grain, total metal jacket projectile. For practical purposes, that "total metal jacket" acts the same way as a full metal jacket and is generally considered the most economical option for you to use at the range.

This product is a true bulk choice - with 1,000 rounds total. When you order this ammo, you'll get a factory case with 20 boxes inside. Inside each of those 20 boxes, you'll find 50 rounds that are ready to fire.

What are you waiting for? Speer's a legendary name and your trigger finger is itching for some range time. Let's make it happen today!

A: Hello Andrew, The Speer 53650 and 53615 are identical in regards to ballistics. The difference is simply that the 53650 is the product number for the Speer Law Enforcement division of manufacturing.

A: Hello Curt, In regards to ballistics, they are equivalent. The product number is different solely because the 53650 product comes off of the Speer LE manufacturing line.

A: This Lawman 9mm ammunition from Speer is steel free. Neither the bullet or casing are of a steel composition. The brass case is boxer primed and reloadable. Additionally, all components are non corrosive. A majority, if not all brass cased pistol ammunition will have a steel free bullet as required by most indoor ranges. In addition to this Lawman ammo, Magtech, Remington, PMC, American Eagle, and Fiocchi are among those that will work for any indoor range applications. The Tula, Silver, and Brown Bear rounds are great for outdoor range applications. However, these three do contain steel and may be prohibited in some indoor ranges.

A: No issues have been reported to us with this Speer Lawman ammo, but Lone Wolf barrels are known to have a small failure rate. It would be best for you to test a small amount of ammo before buying in bulk.

A: TMJ ammo is totally encapsulated by the copper jacket, hence the name Total Metal Jacket. The somewhat misleadingly-named FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) ammo leaves the base of the bullet exposed, which can be an issue if lots of rounds are being fired at an indoor shooting range, because airborne lead levels will increase.

A: The ammo you're looking for is called Lawman Clean-Fire and is labeled as such - it is not this exact ammo. You might also consider Magtech CleanRange.

A: FMJ ammo has an exposed lead core at the base of the bullet, which is sometimes not allowed on indoor ranges. TMJ ammo features a copper jacket or covering over the entire lead core, reducing airborne lead levels.

A: Federal is part of the ATK family of companies, which is one of the largest ammo manufacturers in the world. Federal manufactures the vast majority of small arms ammunition used by the US Military and is also widely used, along with Speer (another ATK company and manufacturer of Lawman ammo) by law enforcement agencies. They are not manufactured by or associated with Winchester or Remington, but stand on their own merits as world-class ammunition.

A: TMJ, or Total Metal Jacket, bullets have a totally encapsulated lead core. Full Metal Jacket bullets generally have an exposed lead base. TMJ bullets help cut down on airborne lead levels, especially at indoor ranges.
