This .223 Remington ammunition from Black Hills Ammunition is remanufactured using cleaned, inspected once fired brass. Using professionally reloaded ammo in your AR-15 or other .223 Rem/5.56 NATO rifle is a great way to save money without investing time or buying your own equipment.
Each cartridge in this box of 50 fires a 55 grain soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,250 feet per second. This results in external ballistics similar to that of M193 ball ammo. However, the soft point makes these cartridges an excellent choice for varmint or small game hunting, unlike their FMJ counterparts; aided by the load's high velocity, the bullet expands on contact with the target and produces lethal terminal performance.
Black Hills Ammunition is an ammo manufacturer based in Rapid City, South Dakota. In addition to producing ammunition for hunters, BHA offers competition grade and self-defense ammo and fulfills contracts for all branches of the US military.
