First made in 1955, the .243 Winchester ammunition is a highly regarded and well-known cartridge in the hunting world. It is a great round for hunting medium sized game such as coyotes, hogs, smaller deer like mule deer, pronghorns, and so on. This round is also usable on varmint type game animals as well. The Prvi Partizan .243 Winchester rounds are topped off with a 90 grain, copper jacketed, lead core, soft point (SP) bullet. The cases they use are reloadable, high polished, heavy walled, non-corrosive Boxer primed brass ones that reflect PPU's commitment to quality and performance.
This 243 Win ammo comes in 20 round boxes with the PPU Blue color on the outside. There are 25 boxes in each case of 500 rounds, giving you enough rounds for a few trips to the range this year. Get yours now and make the most of the upcoming hunting season.
Orignally founded in 1928, Prvi Partisan was a large part of the Serbian economy. "Prvi Partizan" translates to 'First Partizan Factory' which is a name that was given to the factory that was being run by the Resistance group in the area during World War 2. During World War 2 there were multiple resistance groups all over Europe, with one of them being based directly out of Serbia. In 1998, the PPU or Prvi Partizan factory was put back into action and has been selling ammo in large quantities ever since. In addition to all the usual calibers and types of ammo they make, PPU also makes some rare cartridges that no other companies do, or very few companies do.
