A simple but upgraded .38 Special range ammo by the well-known Remington UMC line. This is a 500 round case lot for the upgraded case ammunition that is specifically designed for target and range and plinking use. The full metal jacket in a 130 grain weight with a copper clad MC (Metal Case) FMJ, inside of a nickel plated brass cartridge case that has a Boxer primer. This new case offers premium reloading brass at the same price point that UMC range ammunition was at prior to the change. In Semi-autos, the nickel case coating offers a better feeding experience, with the nickel being “slicker” and providing “lubricity” to the equation. This is equally important in an effort to minimize the ejection/extraction concerns that can sometime happen in dirty cylinders. The case gets a better durability value and is resistant to corrosion and much easier to clean too. This is great for avid reloaders that don’t want to waste unnecessary time.
The velocity of this mildly recoiling round is 790 feet per second out of the muzzle, with the energy delivery sitting at 173 ft. lbs. at the bullet exit. This is a case of 500 rounds packed as 10 boxes of 50 rounds each.
