500 Rounds of .40 S&W Nickel Plated Ammo by Remington - 180gr MC

Out of Stock

Ammo Overview

Quantity - 50 rounds per box; 10 boxes per case
Manufacturer - Remington UMC
Bullets - 180 grain metal case (MC)
Casings - Boxer-primed nickel-plated brass

The UMC line has gotten an upgrade recently to provide for nickel plated brass casings for all of the mainstream loads it offers, including this 40 cal ammo. This is a significant increase in the value of the round by Remington and shows their continued support of the shooter and their commitment to improving the experience for all users of their products. The resulting value add of the nickel-plated brass and the functionality improvement means you are getting the best UMC round that the factory has ever produced. That’s saying something because they are known for their consistent, reliable performance over the years. Pair that with the fact that costs haven’t increased to the consumer and you will know you have a winner on your hands for general shooting needs, range use and target shooting or plinking.

This is a 180 grain Metal Case fully jacketed projectile in a case that has a great powder charge for general use and while it isn’t the cleanest burning powder ever invented, it is much better than most at this price point. The smart improvements on the “new” UMC line makes this a better donor cartridge for hand loaders, and an infinitely better shooting cartridge for those who don’t even plan on reloading. The nickel plating makes a big difference in function and feeding.
