Alfred Nobel started this company in 1865, and it has been going strong based on the innovative technology development it has been known for over the years. The father of dynamite and the benefactor of the Nobel Peace Prize knew what it took to make a legitimate ammunition production company. This German based company has been thriving on those concepts ever since. The main reason any of this means anything with regards to this ammunition is that in the United States, it is still not a super well-known brand, even though we use products often from the brand throughout the firearms industry. The round being presented here is a 4 pellet 4 Buck shell in a 3” shell length in the .410 platform with a mild recoil load given the heavy performance. The 810 feet per second velocity and the 4 pellet build means you get potent delivery of lead on target without the associated massive recoil and the muzzle rise of other competitive rounds.
This is a great round for personal protection, big game at short and moderate distances (about to 60 yards or so) and for sporting purposes that require the massive projectiles (.400”).
