These 44-40 rounds are loaded in boxer primed new brass casings that are re-loadable, and house a 200 grain Round Nose Flat Point (RNFP) projectile. Ultramax also uses unique 1800’s inspired packaging for their cowboy rounds to give shooters that authentic look and feel when shooting their vintage firearms.

Ultramax has been producing ammunition since 1986. They have implemented a strict 10 step quality assurance system to ensure that shooters receive the most consistent and reliable products. All of their ammunition is loaded to SAAMI specifications and every single round goes through a visual inspection before being packaged and shipped. Ultramax ammo is American made in their Rapid City, South Dakota facility.
