Made in the USA

This 5.56x45mm ammunition is just what your AR-15 needs to perform at its best. These cartridges are loaded with 62 grain FMJ penetrator projectiles commonly referred to in America as M855 spec or the NATO designation, SS109. Loose packed in a reusable ammo can, these rounds will be easy to transport to the range and come at a more competitive price per round.

This XM855 ammunition is also commonly known as "green tip" or "penetrator" ammo for the steel tip located at the front of the bullet. These "green tip" bullets are copper jacketed, lead core, with a steel tip at the front of the bullet. Note that some batches of this production run are missing the green paint on the tips. This ammo has been tested with a magnet and it appears that some of Lake City's projectiles that they pulled have the paint worn off. We tested this lot with a magnet and it is magnetic so it is still M855 steel tip.

Each round is brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable.

Cape Fear ammunition is a veteran owned business located in North Carolina.
