This is a Fiocchi USA loaded 9x19 ammunition that is made for the prepper or long-term storage needs of the modern shooter. The “Canned Heat” line is sealed in a can like a long-term shelf stable meal. The idea behind it is that they will last longer when not exposed to ambient moisture and without oxidation. The round itself is a pretty straightforward 9mm load that seems a bit hot but not over the top for a full metal jacket build. The 115 grain FMJ projectile will achieve 1200 feet per second velocity and the brass casing and Boxer primer lend to reloadability.
The unique shape of the can also helps with storage options and the sealed nature of the ammunition means you can stockpile it for use many years into the future and the ammo will be good to go. The speedy 115 grain projectile will function just about any mainstream firearm and the price point is good for the perks of the offering. It is just barely over the standard Fiocchi price for 9mm ammunition, which already represents a floor for new, quality ammunition. This is a 100 round package – a single can with 100 loose rounds inside of it.
