A very nice intermediate deer and hog ammunition that’s great for game that tips the scales at between 150-350 lbs. or so. This is a wonderful hunting companion for those high powered, small caliber hunters that prefer some old school traditional product designs but need modern ballistics to ensure the humane kill. This is a perfect mix of traditional looks and feel, and modern performance. The 64 grain soft point projectile is great for moderate range hunting of small to medium sized game with the capability of taking animals on the small end of the large game spectrum thanks to the impressive static and terminal ballistics of the .223 Remington round.

Best suited to shorter twist rates like 1 in 7 inches or 1 in 8 inches, this is still able to be shot out of longer twist rate barrels albeit less accurately or contained to much less range (under 175 yards or so). The cartridge itself has been known to produce humane kills routinely, on deer sized animals and below, with this 64 grain projectile offering some heavier penetration in the larger game arena.
