This 20 gauge shotshell load from Remington is filled with #9 size shot, a perfect choice for skeet shooters that want more pellets on target without departing too far from the #7-1/2 or #8 patterns to which they are accustomed. The 7/8 ounce measure of pellets sit within the cup of Remington's one-piece Power-Piston wad which travels down the barrel when fired in order to protect the shot from flat-spotting; this allows rounder pellets to stick together in a tighter group for greater clay-breaking potential. When the shell is fired, the wad also crushes in the center, absorbing some recoil that the shooter will never have to feel for faster followup shots and less shoulder pain at the end of the day.

Along with a load of clean-burning powder, the aforementioned components are contained within a moisture-repelling hull with a metallic head that provides snag-free extraction from any action type. Each head is united with a non-corrosive 209 primer for reliable ignition with every trigger pull. With a hull length of 2-3/4 inches, this shell profile is ideal for high-level sporting guns but is safely compatible with most home defense or hunting shotguns as well. Remington is able to offer affordable options like the Gun Club line due to over 200 years of expertise, allowing them to check the ammo over with stringent quality control without extraneous prices.
