100 Rounds of .22 LR Ammo by Remington Subsonic - 38gr LHP

These are exceptionally quiet (relative to most .22LR loads) and easy to like subsonic rounds from Remington.

This 22lr ammo is purposefully built for close in use on pests and are very good at dispatching small animals within about 50-75 feet or so.

the low sound and lower velocity do combine for a very easy to like round for those who only need one round at a time. These rounds are too underpowered to reliably cycle many semi-auto firearms, including those that are old and have looser springs generally. As for drawbacks that is about the only note.

The round itself is accurate within its state range variance and the cleanliness of the shooting experience is good for ammo that’s on the cheap side of the spectrum. This has been a mainstay of the .22LR ammunition market for many years because it’s very good at what it is generally employed to do. Every ammo shelf should have a few boxes at least.

Regarding sound levels: Please NOTE - it isn’t ever advisable to shoot without hearing or eyesight protection. That said, these subsonic rounds make the overall sound and environmental experience much more comfortable for situations of all types. The low velocity removes the supersonic crack from the rounds, and the lower powder weight makes it a lessened snap of sound when shooting these.
