I was a bit concerned that these rounds would have issues cycling when I realized it was labeled "standard velocity". I have had zero issues in my Ruger 10/22 rifle or my Mark II pistol. In comparison to some other "high velocity" ammo, this is much quieter. It's been great for targets at the range! (Posted on 9/19/2022)

After running 1600-1700 rounds of Federal LRN white box (325 round bulk) through my S&W Model 617, I ran about 500 rounds of CCI Standard Velocity through. The difference was like night and day. Much cleaner and virtually no lead residue. The Federal was leaving my gun filthy with a lead build up around the forcing cone that looked like solder splatter or welding slag. CCI target ammo is great for exactly that... Target practice. Shoots excellent out if my M&P 15-22. All 500 rounds went through smooth as butter with no hiccups. Love dealing with BulkAmmo.com as well. They are fast fast fast. Ammo showed up real quick. Only gripe is that it's about twice the price of what .22lr ammo should be.
