A: Yes sir, this ammo should function great in a PMR30. For the record, 22 WMR and 22 Magnum are two names for the same exact ammo.

A: Thanks for reaching out John! The 22 WMR and 22 WRF are two different cartridges. You can in fact fire 22 WRF in a firearm that is chambered for 22 WMR – revolvers and single-shot rifles will work fine, but a magazine-fed 22 WMR firearm will probably not work with 22 WRF. HOWEVER, 22 WMR will not fit in a 22 WRF firearm's chamber, as it is a longer cartridge.

A: According to Speer, this 22WMR CCI Maxi-Mag TMJ ammo is not likely to expand or deform in a target unless it hits bone or other extremely dense material.
