Details

A Philippine powerhouse of a producer, Armscor is a very credible producer in the USA also; with this excellent load being loaded in their Montana facility. The dead center load build with the FMJ 55 grain projectile and the SAAMI specifications, this is a great centrist type load for most shooters in the AR/Clone arena.

The exceptionally clean brass, which is boxer primed, makes this easily reloadable, and the high end powders (a Hodgdon subsidiary) provide a good velocity without producing significant unburnt or otherwise dirty powder. Armscor reports a muzzle velocity of 3215 feet per second with this 223 ammo along with muzzle energy of 1262 foot pounds.

The exceptional price point of this ammunition is only matched by the attention to detail, and quality of components when debating its most valuable features. There really isn’t a bad side to this ammunition. It simply provides a reliable feed, reliable ignition, reliable extraction and acceptable accuracy, with high velocity, good energy on impact and great price point. You can shoot all day, on target and rest assured you’re getting top tier performance for pennies on the dollar. 1000 rounds packaged as 20 rounds per box; 50 boxes per case.

This is suitable for use in any .223 Remington chambered firearm. The SAAMI specification and the otherwise impeccable component selection and quality details to the finishing of this load gives you great bang for your buck.

A: Using the toolbar at the top left, ammo can be sorted in ascending or descending order by several factors, including cost per round. This is the best way for you to find the least expensive brass cased 5.56 ammo on our site, because prices on specific items can change over time.

A: The factory boxes are a very good choice for long-term storage. Desiccants are always a good choice for storing moisture-sensitive items like ammo.
