Fiocchi has built a strong reputation among .223 shooters for having high quality ammunition at an affordable price. This .223 round from Fiocchi is no exception; just take a look at the reviews. This round features a 62 grain full metal jacket boat tail projectile that is designed for long range accuracy. The bullet is heavier than the typical 55 grain bullet common in the caliber, and is more similar to the ballistic properties of the XM855. This round has muzzle velocity of 3000 feet per second.
This ammo is brass-cased, reloadable, boxer-primed, and non-corrosive. Fiocchi is a family owned manufacturer of ammunition with headquarters in Lecco, Italy, but they also have a factory in Ozark, Missouri where they make ammunition for sale in the US. This 1000 round case includes 20 boxes of ammo, with 50 rounds per box.

Ive used this before and at 175 yrds I can knock a flea off a rabbits ass with it !! Its that accurate.. I get sub .50 inch groups bench rest at 200yrds. This is tack driving Ammo with the right weapon setup !!. (Posted on 7/11/2020)

.5 to .75 moa ammo but it tracks great with my Spikes tactical 18" spr running a IOR valdada recon with 62 gr bdc turrets. I have my own private range on my property shooting from 50-450yd. Wish it was a little cheaper since I run about 6-8000 rds a year (Posted on 11/3/2019)

While this ammo performs well (accuracy/reliability), what I was impressed with was the helpful people, the smooth and streamlined order process, and the product arrived exactly as advertised and when advertised. This ammo is very reliable, I'm almost through my first 1000 rounds and I've had no failure to fire or failure to eject. It's very accurate and for the price, you can't get much better. (Posted on 12/17/2012)

the ammo preformed great, the delivery was very fast . The only problem i had was not long after i ordered the ammo it went on sale for 50 dollars less then what i payed for it. Other then that great experience (Posted on 9/9/2012)

Q: This is asked on every .223 ammo posting, but is this steel core in anyway?

A: This ammo will not have a steel core or bi-metal jacket. Other than dimensional similarity to the M855, the only other thing it shares is the weight. This is a great range round for the faster twist barrels of 1:8 and 1:7. Thanks again for your question.
