A proven winner, with a good price point considering the accuracy it is capable of right from the factory. This .223 ammo comes without all the fanfare of the “tuned” factory rounds. Very simply put; the Sierra Match King has been outperforming more expensive ammo for decades. In fact, the Sierra Match King Bullet has been used to win more competitions than any other single projectile. That speaks volumes about the consistency and tolerances of that bullet choice. Given the other premium components involved to make this Federal premium Gold Medal Match Ammunition, you can rest assured you are getting the best factory load at the price for when you can’t handload.

The 69 grain projectile works exceptionally well in the 1 in 7 and 1 in 8 twists and can be shot out of looser twist rates but it won’t offer the same sub MOA accuracy potential that you get with more stabilized trajectories of the shorter twist rates. Essentially this is the round you want when the hole needs to be the same, and you've taken adequate preparation to secure that the other components in your shooting setup are capable of delivering sub MOA. When you need to know you’ll be on target every single time with a factory .223 Remington load, this is a serious contender, especially given the price point relative to peers.
