I bought 500 rounds years ago. I use to shoot in my hunting rifles to get on paper and practice cause it’s cheap. Then before I’m through I zero in with my hunting rounds so I don’t waste good hunting ammo. I’ve had a handful of duds as the primers are seated too far down or in some case just won’t fire. Prob absorbed moisture over the years. I also have black tipped tungsten core ammo that will penetrate AR500 ballistic steel. Why I have it? I don’t know. A friend Gabe me a ammo box full. Both the paki and black tipped ammo is old and nasty on the cases. I wipe them down with white scotch brute because my OCD kicks in. Seems to help them feed well. Especially in my M1 Garand. I shoot the paki ammo out of my M1 and likewise never had any feeding issues but have had my share of duds. The ammo is 150 grain. So when zeroing in my hunting rifles I use 150 grain hunting ammo also to stay close to target before finalizing my zeroing of scope. It’s cheap ammo. Not armor piercing although it’s magnetic. It may pierce thin metal, similar to green tipped 5.56 ammo. But not through ballistic steel like black tip tungsten core ammo. I like it, you get what you pay for. It’s decent cheap ammo for practicing and “plinking”. Not that anyone goes plinking with a 30-06..... it’s ok stuff. Not great but usable and serves the purpose for me. (Posted on 4/25/2020)

I bought this ammo and have had no problems though many (so called experts) claim it's dangerous or whatever due to low quality control. May be true but it is mass produced surplus and shouldn't be held to the standards of high performance bench rest ammo. It shoots and maintains pretty good results overall for what it is.
I'm a firm believer on collecting any and all the ammo a person can afford because there is absolutely no doubt it WILL increase in demand and appreciate in value over time as governments worldwide continue to dwell on the issue of restricting firearms and ammunition to the public. So having any kind for the gun or guns you may own is a good idea to have as target practice ammo or self defense and better if it appreciates in value enough to resell later on and earn some cash. Worried before purchasing my 1919 Springfield '03 in light of the per cartridge price of most 30'06 ammo. Thrilled and curious when I saw this product out there. Felt as if I had been given access to a war museum supply room when I saw those old, British-style paper cartridge boxes, all marked 1967 to 1969. Well kept for sure.
Shoots fine as far as I am concerned, and at about 1/3rd of the price of many newer rounds, it works for me. Just like fine wine, apparently if ammo is stored correctly, it appears to have an indefinite shelf like. thanks for being there for me. (Posted on 3/10/2016)

I have bought about 1000 rounds of Paki Ought six in the past year and I have had absolutely no issues with it at all. I has run through my 1942 M1 fine, and my 1916 1903 fine. I have not had any hangfires or even duds. I went into the Paki ammo very hesitant but ended up being very presently surprised. While 340 for 500 rounds isnt really a bargain I cant complain about the ammo. While its not match ammo, its still pretty good (Posted on 11/27/2015)

So I ordered 500 of these Pakistani mil surplus without knowing how they performed just based on the price. well... 1 inch MOA at 100 yards. a few flyers here and there about a few inches. However, out of every 5 cartridge 1 seems to be a problem as it wont seat in the chamber. I cant get the bold to lock. something on the crimping I guess. Maybe it is my luck as i went thru 3 boxes and seems to be the problem with every box. At least a few wont even chamber. buy it at your own risk.... (Posted on 10/19/2015)
