This .308 Winchester military surplus ammunition from Argentina is a great way to get some trigger time with your FAL, M-14, Remington 700, AR-10, or other .308 /7.62 NATO rifle. These rounds come in a loose lot of 600, packaged in a resusable ammo can. Each cartridge fires a 150 grain full metal jacket bullet and delivers excellent (though not match grade) long range accuracy.
Like many surplus rounds, these cartridges use reloadable brass but have (non-corrosive) Berdan primers. These primers require extra tools to remove for reloading purposes, so make sure you're prepared to deal with that if you plan on reloading the brass.
The .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO was the standard rifle cartridge of both the Argentine and British militaries during the Falklands war. Unusually, both sides also used nearly identical standard issue rifles in the FAL and the L1A1, a copy of the FAL that used parts measured in British imperial units instead of metric units.
