Details

Federal's .38 Special lead round nose load is an economical round for target shooting. Packaged in boxes of 50, these cartridges use reloadable Boxer-primed brass and fire a 158-grain bullet at a 760 feet per second, generating light recoil.  This round is best suited for outdoor ranges due to the potential for lead exposure. Some indoor ranges prohibit use of lead round nose bullets.

Since 1922, Federal Premium Ammunition of Anoka, Minnesota has earned a strong reputation for manufacturing high quality ammo at reasonable prices. The company produces a wide variety of target loads under the Federal and American Eagle brands. For use in the field, the company markets the high-end Fusion hunting line and the HST and Hydra-Shok self-defense loads. Federal also serves as the contract operator of the Lake City arsenal in Independence, Missouri, where it manufactures ammunition for the US military.

A: Absolutely sir, this ammo should function seamlessly in your revolver.

A: Yes, shooting a lot of lead bullets will cause lead to build up in your barrel, and this is pretty true of any lead bullet. However, cleaning the bore/removing this lead with a good solvent and brush/patches is not difficult at all.
