Although it sounds like a given for .45 ACP Ammo, Remington's UMC Metal Case cartridges really do have a metal case! Of course, the case is made of brass, but what the MC designation refers to here is the jacket of the bullet. The projectiles in UMC's MC rounds are functionally equivalent to FMJ bullets, with metal jackets and lead cores. More than just a fancy name, UMC's MC ammo is some of the most inexpensive on the market, barring steel-cased bullets. Remington UMC's MC cartridges are perfect for a day of plinking at the range.
Remington UMC's MC .45 ACP bullet weighs in at 185 grain, producing 423 foot pounds of muzzle energy and 1,015 feet per second of muzzle velocity. The boxer-primed brass is safe for reuse. It comes packed in 50-round plastic trays contained in Remington UMC branded cardstock boxes. There are 10 boxes in this case.
