Sellier & Bellot offers quality brass-cased .45 ACP
ammunition that will keep you on the range with your 1911, H&K Mk23 or
Glock 21 . This cartridge uses a typical 230 grain full metal jacket bullet
that achieves a muzzle velocity of 853 feet per second, producing typical .45
Auto ballistics and strong muzzle energy of 372 foot-pounds. Each round in this
box of 50 uses Boxer-primed reloadable brass cases.
Sellier & Bellot is an ammunition manufacturer located in Vlasim, in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1825 during the era of the Austrian Empire, the company has survived many changes in the firearms industry including the obsolescence of its original product, percussion caps, and several decades of government ownership by the post-WWII Soviet-dominated Czechoslovak government. Purchased 150 rounds and fired 40 rounds at my annual LEO qualifying. Out of the 40 rounds fired I had 4 primers that failed. All rounds cycle through the weapon easily and casings are good quality brass. Hoping for better performance from the remaining 110 rounds. (Posted on 10/24/2021)

I've run about 300 rounds (so far) thru a Ruger 1911 and a Springfield XDS with zero problems. The company ships very fast and only advertises product they have in stock, unlike some other online sellers, who will list ammo, then in fine print say it's out of stock. (Posted on 5/21/2021)

BulkAmmo did a great job, ammo is hard to find and they delivered the order in just a couple days after I bought it. The ammo itself was all good, pew pew reload, pew pew no failures. I reload most of my ammo but at times I purchase factory ammo and when I do, I rely on S&B ammo and it works flawlessly. I is a bit less expensive then most but wouldn't consider it a great price bargain but a great performance bargain. (Posted on 6/28/2019)

I just ran 51 rounds of S B as fast as I could squeeze the trigger thru my Springfield Armory 1911 Ultra Compact, which is my carry weapon. I know I can rely on this ammo to perform. In the past I have run 81 rounds of S B, as fast as possible, and like always this ammo runs clean with zero FTF, FTE or Mis-feeds. Unlike some other ammo's at similar price points which would clog the extractor with un-burnt powder and after 2 clips or so the weapon was essentially useless until I took a can of Dust Off and cleared the extractor. S B runs just as clean as Ammo twice the price. Love it and, although it may sound like it...I don't work for them. :) (Posted on 12/13/2017)

I never had a problem with this particular round or any other by Sellier & Bellot. I have run at least 2,000 rounds of this through my Colt 1911 with only a couple failure to feeds and no failure to fires. The failure to feeds were probably not the fault of the ammo -- probably my magazines -- since after reloading the rounds that failed to feed a second time, they fed just fine. I have purchased this item for as little as $16.00 and have seen them elsewhere for as much as $24.00. The current price, listed here, of $19.50 is a little more than I want to pay right now, so I will be looking at a different brand for now and wait for the price to go down on these, then buy a bunch. Q: Can I use thim on a revolver

A: Thanks for reaching out Anthony! If a revolver is chambered only for 45 Long Colt, then it will be unable to fire 45 ACP. There are a few 45 ACP revolvers on the market, however, so I can't definitively answer your question without knowing which kind of revolver you have.
