These rounds from Israeli Military Industries are the exact same rounds that the U.S. military and NATO allies use. This I.M.I. 5.56x45 ammo is a full metal jacket round that has a 62 grain bullet and provides some of the highest quality ballistics meant for use by the U.S. military and NATO allies.

This ammunition has been proven effective in combat time and again. The round has a steel core full metal jacket and is extremely effective. Also, it has a heavier 62-grain projectile which is more accurate over longer distances and has the power to go through lightly armored vehicles.

The muzzle velocity for this round is 3025 feet per second, providing you with the capability to shoot long distances. It utilizes a boxer primer that is both non corrosive and non mercuric.

These round are available in bulk, and the package comes with 1200 rounds of ammunition. This is separated into 40 boxes with 30 rounds per box. If you ever wanted to shoot what the U.S. military and NATO allies use, then this is the ammunition for you.

A: Thanks for reaching out Hunter! Your friend is right to be concerned. The M855 bullet is specifically designed to penetrate sheet metal. Your neighbor's steel targets are way thicker than 1/8", but this bullet is equipped to do permanent damage to them regardless. Also, this bullet's steel penetrator core presents a heightened chance of causing a dangerous ricochet. I'd recommend sticking to FMJ ammo when you're shooting steel targets, and if they're set up real close you may want to go frangible. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
