Details

Shooters who like to buy in bulk understand there are serious advantages to having a large amount of ammo on hand. 500 rounds of this reliable 5.56x45 ammo by Federal American Eagle will help you master your craft without worrying about using up your expensive ammo.

Federal manufactures these 5.56 NATO rounds with new-production brass casings, Boxer-primers, and 55gr full metal jacket boat tail (FMJBT) bullets. The FMJ is already one of the most popular range bullets out there, but Federal makes it even better by tapering the tail for added accuracy downrange. These bullets leave the muzzle with a muzzle velocity of approximately 3240 feet per second. If you're into reloading your spent casings, Federal brass is perfect for that purpose.

Federal Premium was originally founded in 1922, and the company has grown into a major player in the American ammunition market. Don't settle for subpar ammo for your AR-15. Order 500 rounds of this 5.56x45 ammo today!

A: This M193 5.56x45 rifle ammunition will be safe to use at your rang and will pass (not stick) the magnet test. Almost all M193 bullets will be safe to fire at indoor ranges that have these restrictions in place. On the other hand, the M855 bullets, including the Green Tip rounds, will not pass the test and are best saved for outdoor range applications. Our selection of .223 Rem ammo will also offer M193 rounds for indoor range use including PMC 55 grain in .223. These may be fired in the 5.56x45 chamber, though it should be noted 5.56 ammo should not be fired in .223 chambers.

A: This Federal ammunition was manufactured within the last two calendar years. A majority of our ammo in stock has been manufactured within the last year. Only a few items, such as our Bulgarian surplus 7.62x54r, was manufactured decades ago. If you have any additional questions about this, or any item, please feel free to respond via e mail or give us a call. We will be happy to help!

A: Correct. All components used in this Federal 5.56 ammo are non corrosive. The M193 ammo is great for any target application for indoor and outdoor use. Additionally, the brass is boxer primed and may be used for reloading.
